1. Who We Are
Darmis' Garb ("we", "us", "our") is a sole proprietorship based in Ghana. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it's handled. We are not currently registered with Ghana's Data Protection Commission. If that changes, we'll update this page.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect what we need to run the store:
- Order details: name, email, phone number, and delivery address, collected at checkout to fulfil and deliver your order.
- Account details: if you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form).
- Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor, Paystack. We never see or store your card or mobile money details.
- Basic site analytics: see Section 5 below.
We don't ask for or collect anything beyond this: no date of birth, no location tracking, no marketing profiling.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process, fulfil, and deliver your order
- To send you order confirmation and status emails (via our email provider, Resend)
- To respond when you contact us with a question or issue
- To let you sign in and view your past orders, if you create an account
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the checkout
We do not send marketing emails, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Who We Share Information With
We share the minimum necessary information with the services that help us run the store:
- Paystack: processes your payment. Your card/mobile money details go directly to Paystack and never touch our servers.
- Resend: sends order confirmation emails on our behalf.
- Our hosting and database providers: store order and account data securely on our behalf; they don't use it for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Darmis' Garb, our customers, or others.
5. Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall traffic to this site (e.g. which pages are visited). It's cookieless and doesn't collect personally identifiable information. We can't use it to identify you individually. We don't use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking tools.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.
7. Data Retention
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, warranty, and legal purposes. If you have an account, we keep your account information until you ask us to delete it.
8. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by reaching out via our Contact page. We'll respond as quickly as we can.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information: encrypted connections (HTTPS), securely hashed passwords, and restricted access to order data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
